Nintendo Direct presentation highlights many upcoming games for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS family systems

8th March, 2018 – During its latest Nintendo Direct presentation, Nintendo announced that the Super Smash Bros. series is coming exclusively to Nintendo Switch this year. The video also showcased more than a dozen upcoming games for both the Nintendo Switch console and Nintendo 3DS family systems, with many of the featured games coming from third-party developers, including SQUARE ENIX, Capcom, Grasshopper Manufacture, From Software and Ubisoft.
The Super Smash Bros. series is coming to Nintendo Switch in 2018. The teaser trailer featured recognisable faces like Mario, Link and Inklings from the Splatoon series.
In the presentation, we got our first look at Splatoon 2: Octo Expansion, a brand new single-player mode coming to Splatoon 2 this summer, as well as a number of new game announcements for Nintendo Switch, including Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, Sushi Striker: The Way of Sushido, Crash Bandicoot™ N. Sane Trilogy, ŌKAMI™ HD, South Park™: The Fractured But Whole™, UNDERTALE and Little Nightmares™ Complete Edition.
Own a Nintendo 3DS? You can look forward to a new version of Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, plus the newly-announced WarioWare Gold, Luigi's Mansion, Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story + Bowser Jr.’s Journey and Dillon’s Dead-Heat Breakers.
There were also new updates and spotlights on previously announced titles, like Mario Tennis Aces, Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition, Detective Pikachu, OCTOPATH TRAVELER, Kirby Star Allies, Dark Souls™: Remastered and Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes.
